Ayesha came to Forever Wild from a breeding facility. She was named in honor of Ayesha King, the wife of Kerry King from the band Slayer, who generously hosted a fundraiser to help us build Ayesha a larger enclosure and get her spayed. Now 9 years old, Ayesha is a very vocal cat, always eager to express her feelings and make sure everyone knows she’s around. Her bold and talkative nature brings plenty of energy to our sanctuary.
Caesar was transferred to Forever Wild from a facility up north that was shut down. As a white tiger, he carries a unique genetic trait known as leucism, which gives him his striking white coat and blue eyes. Unfortunately, the breeding practices used to produce white tigers often come with serious health and genetic challenges. Despite this, Caesar is a powerful and graceful presence at the sanctuary, embodying both the beauty and the tragic consequences of human interference in the natural world.
Chloe’s story is one of strength and survival. She was found abandoned on the rooftop of a nearby school, left behind by her mother before she had learned how to hunt. Luckily, she was rescued and brought to Forever Wild, where she’s grown into a healthy and playful bobcat under our care. Though she may be twice the size of a house cat, Chloe still captivates visitors with her curious and mischievous spirit.
Crystal came to Forever Wild after being transferred from a facility up north that was shut down. Sadly, her unknown past left her declawed and defanged, a common but extremely harmful practice used to make big cats more manageable for human interaction. Despite her past, Crystal has shown incredible resilience and remains a gentle presence at the sanctuary. Her snowy white coat and piercing blue eyes captivate everyone who meets her, but her story serves as a reminder of the dangers and long-term suffering caused by the exotic pet and entertainment industries.
Diesel came to Forever Wild from a facility in Oregon after his previous owner suffered a major stroke and could no longer care for him. He is a stunning example of strength and grace. African spotted leopards like Diesel are renowned for their adaptability, powerful builds, and beautiful rosette-patterned coats. In the wild, leopards are skilled hunters, known to drag their prey high into trees to keep it safe from scavengers. Diesel embodies this strength, but his story is also a testament to the impact of human actions on wild animals.
Harley was rescued and brought to Forever Wild after being illegally owned as a pet. Like many bobcats, Harley is full of energy and curiosity, characteristics that make him both fascinating and a little mischievous. Bobcats are known for their resilience and adaptability, and Harley’s journey is a reminder of the consequences of keeping wild animals as pets. At Forever Wild, Harley has a safe and enriched environment where he can live as close to his natural instincts as possible.
Isis is one of our beautiful African servals who was legally owned as a pet in another state before being surrendered to Forever Wild. Her previous owner even allowed her to sleep in bed with her children, not fully understanding the wild nature of these incredible cats. Known as “giraffe cats” due to their long legs, servals are highly skilled hunters and can jump over 9 feet into the air to catch their prey. Despite her past as a household pet, Isis now enjoys a life closer to what nature intended, in an environment that respects her wild instincts.
Jafari was surrendered to Forever Wild after his previous owner discovered it was illegal to own servals in California. Like all servals, Jafari is incredibly agile and can leap impressively high to catch prey—a natural skill that makes these wild cats extraordinary hunters. With the largest ears of any cat species, servals like Jafari use their exceptional hearing to detect even the slightest rustle of prey in the grasslands of Africa. Despite once being kept as a pet, Jafari now lives in a safe, enriched environment that respects his wild instincts.
Jasmine’s story is one of resilience and survival. She was illegally owned as a pet before being rescued and brought to Forever Wild, where she now thrives in an environment designed to support her natural behaviors. African servals like Jasmine are known for their long legs and extraordinary ability to leap high into the air to catch birds and other prey. With her striking spotted coat and graceful movements, Jasmine captivates everyone who visits, serving as a powerful reminder of the challenges wild animals face when kept in inappropriate settings.
Kassara’s journey to Forever Wild began when she and her sibling, Tabu, were rescued by Fish & Wildlife. Because it was unclear if they were native bobcats or not, they couldn’t be released back into the wild. The pair were just two weeks old when they arrived, needing round-the-clock care and nurturing. Kassara has grown into a strong and independent bobcat, but she still loves to explore and play in her carefully designed enclosure, where she can climb and hide just as she would in the wild.
Kitty was rescued after being illegally owned as a pet and eventually found her forever home at Forever Wild. Unlike house cats, bobcats like Kitty are powerful and wild, with twice the size and strength of a typical domestic feline. Her story highlights the dangers and misunderstandings that come with keeping wild animals as pets. At Forever Wild, Kitty has the space and enrichment she needs to express her natural behaviors, from climbing and pouncing to hiding and exploring her habitat.
Layla was transferred to Forever Wild from another facility when her previous owners could no longer care for her due to health issues. Siberian lynxes are the largest of the lynx species, known for their thick, luxurious fur and wide, webbed paws that act like natural snowshoes, allowing them to move effortlessly through snowy terrain. Layla is an impressive hunter, capable of taking down prey much larger than herself, and she communicates with a fascinating range of vocalizations, from mews to hisses.
Mishka came from another facility that thought she was a male. They even named her Gus. Eventually, they found out she was not a male and transferred her over here. Mishka is very nosy, she likes to get in everyone's business, especially when we try to clean her. She is 11 years old.

Rajalla was a previous photoshoot cat. She eventually grew over the weight and age restrictions so they transferred her over here. She is a very rambunctious tiger. She loves to play with her keepers and sneak up on them. Rajalla is 4 years old.
Shiva was kept privately by a man who did not provide sufficient care for her. She was taken in by another facility before us who noticed that she was malnourished, she had barely any hair, and she weighed extremely less than what she should have been. However, now that she is here she is a happy chubby little sausage. Shiva loves to play with her toys and play in the water. Shiva is 4 years old.

Zuni came from a person who had her illegally as a pet. She is 2 years old. Mountain lions go by many names, some of which include Puma, cougar, catamount, and panther. It is all the same cat. They are native to western North America, and most of South America. A very small population exists in Florida.
Yarah came to us from another facility in Oregon. She is 2 years old, and the sweetest little bear. Her ears look like Winnie the Pooh.
At one time there were around 50,000 grizzly bears, but due to western expansion those numbers were quickly depleted. Now, under the U.S. Endangered Species Act, there are about 1,500 bears living in the contiguous United States.
